Variant Option mapping: your own value for every option value

Pick variant options, see every value in your shop and type the value each channel should get, without Liquid.

Variant Option mapping: your own value for every option value

Channels often want option values in their own form: color names in their language, sizes in one format, or their own codes. Until now you had to write Liquid with a replace for every value.

The new field source "Variant Option mapping" lists every value of the variant options you pick, with the number of products that use it. Type the value the channel should get next to each one. Values you leave unmapped can keep their original value, be left out, or use your default value.

Use it in any field's case in "Additional fields for feed", or in a rule in the Library to share one mapping across feeds. The "Option" source is now called "Variant Option".

What's included

  • In a field's case, set "Source" to "Variant Option mapping" and pick one or more options under "Sources" (up to 10). The first non-empty value of a variant is used.
  • "Values" shows each option value from your shop with its number of products, up to 500 values, with search and an All / Unmapped / Mapped filter. Values can also be added manually.
  • "Unmapped values": keep the original value, leave the field out, or use the default value from "Set default value".
  • "Matching options": ignore letter case and surrounding spaces (both on by default). Values are matched in your shop's primary language.
  • Works in fields with cases and in rules in the Library, so one mapping can serve several feeds. The "Option" source is now called "Variant Option".
Where to find it
