}Match any spec, down to the last tag
When a partner sends you an exact file spec, build it yourself: XML or JSON from a Liquid template, CSV or TXT from a simple column editor. Full access to your product data, metafields included.
- ✓XML, JSON, CSV and TXT
- ✓Liquid with custom filters
- ✓New feeds on request, free
XML and JSON, written in Liquid
The whole file is one Liquid template, the same language Shopify themes use. Loop over products and variants and output exactly the tags or fields your destination wants. Start from a gallery template for XML, test the syntax with one click and preview the result against real products.
CSV and TXT without writing code
Add columns one by one, name them and choose where each value comes from. The file has one row per variant and follows the format settings you pick.
- ✓Sources: Shopify field, option, metafield, fixed text or Liquid
- ✓Delimiter: comma, tab, colon, semicolon or vertical bar
- ✓Enclosure in double quotes, single quotes or none
- ✓Header row on or off
- ✓Charset UTF-8 or ISO-8859-1
Filters built for feed work
On top of the standard Liquid filters, Feedyio adds its own: regex replace and extract, text between two markers, price rounding to the nearest or next 5 or 10, fixed decimals, HTML stripping that keeps the tags you allow, emoji removal, and a lookup of variant options by name. In the CSV editor you can chain filters through a form, no code needed.
Metafields, metaobjects and store data
Product and variant metafields are available in every template, translated to the feed language. Metaobject references resolve into readable fields, and store metafields work as shop-wide fallbacks, for example a default delivery time when a product has none.
Rather not build it yourself?
Describe what you need through the feed request form in the app. Our team creates new feeds for free and gets back to you.
Metaobjects are available from the Basic plan. Feeds in other languages and markets need the Advanced plan or higher. See pricing →
Frequently asked
Not for CSV or TXT: the column editor covers most cases with Shopify fields, options and metafields. XML and JSON feeds are written in Liquid, and you can start from a template or ask us to set the feed up for you.
