You can now sync your store (shop) metafields and use them in Liquid as shop.metafields.<namespace>.<key>, for example as a fallback for product values.
Turn it on in Settings > Sync settings with the "Store metafields" checkbox and add the namespaces to sync. It is off by default, and store metafields are refreshed with the product sync.
