Category mapping: see the products behind every row

Category mapping shows only the categories, product types and collections your products use, with product counts, a product list per row and an Unmapped filter.

Category mapping: see the products behind every row

Mapping categories is easier when you know what is behind each row. The pairing tables now list only the Shopify categories, product types and collections that your synced products actually use, each with its number of products.

Click the count to see those products with photo, title, status and collections. "Edit" opens the product in Shopify, so you can fix a wrong product type or category on the spot; the feed picks up the change after "Resync now" or saving the feed.

Use "All", "Unmapped" and "Mapped" above the table to show only the rows that still need a category. Rows with a suggested category are highlighted, and a click on the suggestion accepts it.

What's included

  • The tables list only the Shopify categories, product types and collections used by your synced products, with the number of products under each row.
  • Click the product count to open the list of those products: photo, title, status, product type or category and collections, 50 per page.
  • "Edit" opens the product in Shopify; the feed picks up your changes after "Resync now" or saving the feed.
  • "All", "Unmapped" and "Mapped" above the table filter the rows and show how many there are of each.
  • Rows with a suggested category are highlighted; click the suggested category to accept it.
Where to find it

Find it in a feed's "Map categories" and on "Category mappings", when you pair by categories, product types or collections.
