About Twenga
Twenga was founded in Paris in 2006 as a next-generation shopping comparison engine. Founders Bastien Duclaux and Cédric Anès built a search engine that indexed online store offers across Europe. The original comparison site gradually evolved into Twenga Solutions, a platform focused on customer acquisition for e-commerce.
Today Twenga Solutions serves more than 4,500 online stores in 16 countries across Europe, North America and Australia. The portfolio includes Shopping Push, Shopping Boost and Shopping Premium, which differ in the level of automation and how much of the campaign management Twenga takes over.
The key advantage is Google CSS Premier Partner status. A Comparison Shopping Service partner buys Google Shopping ads on behalf of the retailer, so the margin Google would otherwise keep stays in the auction. The same budget therefore buys a higher bid or a lower cost per click.
Twenga is also a Microsoft Advertising Select Partner, which extends catalog distribution to Bing Shopping. For stores operating in markets where Microsoft holds meaningful share, this is a cheaper source of qualified traffic.
A machine learning system evaluates the performance of individual products and allocates visibility according to their conversion potential. Instead of a flat rate, budget flows to the items that actually sell.
Alongside paid distribution, Twenga runs its own comparison properties with dedicated merchant pages. Products appear to users with high purchase intent who are actively comparing prices on specific goods.
Integration works through a standard product feed. Feedyio generates a feed structured to the Google Merchant Center specification, which Twenga ingests without further edits. The feed refreshes automatically, so prices and availability match the state of your store.
Twenga is a good fit for stores that want to reduce Google Shopping costs without restructuring their campaigns, and that are looking for a single channel to expand into several European markets at once.
