Ceneo Zaufane Opinie for Shopify: how to collect trusted reviews on Poland's biggest comparison site

If you sell to Polish customers, you already know Ceneo.pl: the country's largest price-comparison and shopping platform, with 30-35 million visits a month and 20,000+ stores competing for the same clicks. What many Shopify merchants miss is that Ceneo runs its own verified-review program, Zaufane Opinie (Trusted Reviews), and connecting it to your store takes about five minutes. This guide covers what the program does, why it is worth joining, and how to set it up on Shopify.

What is Ceneo Zaufane Opinie?

Zaufane Opinie is Ceneo's post-purchase review program. Once your store is connected, every completed order is reported to Ceneo, and Ceneo automatically emails the customer a short questionnaire a few days later, timed to arrive after the package has been delivered. The customer rates the shop and the products they bought, and those reviews appear on your Ceneo store profile and on product listings.

Because the reviews come only from real, verified purchases, they carry a "trusted" mark. That is exactly what makes them worth more than any review widget you install on your own site.

Why it matters for your sales on Ceneo

Reviews are one of the strongest ranking and conversion signals on Ceneo. In practice the program gets you four things:

  • Higher click-through from offer listings. Stores with a visible rating and review count stand out in Ceneo's offer comparison tables. Polish shoppers filter and sort by store rating, so a shop with no reviews is effectively invisible to a large share of buyers.
  • Trust before the first purchase. For a foreign or lesser-known Shopify store entering the Polish market, verified reviews are the fastest way past the "never heard of this shop" barrier.
  • Product reviews, not just store reviews. The questionnaire also collects product-level ratings, which show up on Ceneo product pages. That is extra visibility your competitors without the program don't get.
  • It runs itself. After the one-time setup there is nothing to maintain. Every order triggers a questionnaire and reviews accumulate on their own.

How the integration works on Shopify

Unlike Heureka's Ověřeno zákazníky program, which sends orders through a server-side API, Ceneo Zaufane Opinie works exclusively through a JavaScript snippet that fires on the order-confirmation page. On Shopify the clean way to do that, without editing your theme or touching checkout code, is a custom pixel in Customer events.

The setup in a nutshell:

  1. Enable Zaufane Opinie in your Ceneo merchant panel and copy your account GUID.
  2. In Shopify admin, go to Settings → Customer events and add a new custom pixel.
  3. Paste in the tracking code, replace the GUID placeholder, then save and connect.

From that moment every completed checkout sends the order (customer email, order ID, purchased products and total) to Ceneo, and the questionnaire goes out automatically.

👉 Follow the step-by-step guide with the complete custom pixel code here.

Three things to get right before you go live

Match the product IDs to your feed. The tracking script sends a product ID with each ordered item. Those IDs have to match the offer IDs in the XML product feed you submit to Ceneo, otherwise Ceneo cannot pair a product review with the right product in your catalog. If your feed is generated by Feedyio, use the same identifier the feed uses.

Time the questionnaire to your delivery. The work_days_to_send_questionnaire parameter (0-21 business days, default 3) controls when the review email is sent. Set it to your typical delivery time to Poland so customers are reviewing a product they have actually unboxed. Sending too early is the most common reason for a mediocre rating.

Add the email-sharing clause. The integration passes the customer's email address to Ceneo, so your store terms and privacy policy should include the recommended GDPR clause about sharing email and purchase data with Ceneo for the purpose of collecting reviews. Ceneo provides the exact wording in the merchant panel.

Selling on Ceneo starts with a correct feed

Review collection is the second step. The first is getting your products listed on Ceneo at all, which means a properly formatted XML feed with Ceneo's own category structure, correct availability and prices in PLN. Feedyio generates a Ceneo product feed from your Shopify catalog automatically, keeps prices and stock synced hourly, and lets you manage Ceneo alongside Heureka, Glami, Allegro and your other product feeds from a single app.

How to set it up in Feedyio

  1. Install Feedyio from the Shopify App Store.
  2. Create the Ceneo feed from the ready-made template and copy the generated feed URL.
  3. Paste the feed URL into your Ceneo merchant panel and let Ceneo import your offers.
  4. Add the Zaufane Opinie custom pixel in Shopify (Settings → Customer events) using the code from the guide above, with your GUID filled in.
